This Independence Day, we paused the syllabus for a day and celebrated the spirit of freedom with our students in the most joyful way possible.
Patriotism in the Air
The entire academy was beautifully decorated in the colours of the tricolour, setting the perfect tone for the day right from the entrance. As part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, the management took a moment to congratulate all the students — applauding not just their hard work in the classroom, but the spirit and enthusiasm they brought to the celebrations. Students and faculty came together to honour the occasion, reflecting on the freedom we often take for granted while chasing our dreams of IITs, AIIMS, and beyond.
Talent Takes the Stage
Once the formalities wrapped up, it was time for our students to shine in a completely different way — not with formulas and problem sets, but with talent, rhythm, and confidence.
From energetic dance performances to soulful singing, students showcased sides of themselves that don’t usually make an appearance during Physics or Organic Chemistry classes. The stage was full of energy, and it was heartening to see students — who spend most of their day buried in JEE and NEET preparation — step out, perform, and be cheered on by their peers and mentors alike.
Tambola & Games Galore
No celebration at Zetta is complete without a little friendly competition! Our Tambola (Housie) session turned out to be one of the biggest crowd-pullers of the day, with students eagerly marking their tickets and shouting out numbers, hoping for that winning line. The excitement, laughter, and good-natured chaos around the tambola tables were a refreshing break from the usual quiet of classrooms and libraries.
Alongside tambola, students took part in a range of fun games and activities designed to encourage teamwork, quick thinking, and plain old enjoyment — proving once again that a little fun goes a long way in keeping the preparation grind balanced and sustainable.
